“My paintings are a frantic attempt to capture reality, they are a culmination of struggles, dancing, and duels with the image which has to be dissected out of shards, out of observations, and they have to come forth out of emotion, the conscious as well as the unconscious

They exist as an uncompromising presentation coming forth out of an observing eye as well as burst of passionate action and tragedy.

They are a mirror image of human relations, the truth as well as an illusion, the human animal and the sublimity of the human psyche.

They need a viewer as reflection point, they force themselves onto you, they demand that you relate to them.

They can be cruel as well as sensitive”.
